Obituary of George Keener Cole

George Keener Cole, 63, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday July 18,2018 in Raleigh, NC. George was born on February 16,1955 to Herman & Mildred Couch Cole. He was a lifelong resident of the Tri Cities, before a recent move to North Carolina. Mr.Cole was a veteran of the US Army. He worked for 35+ years as a robotics engineer, first with Texas Instruments then Snap On Tools, before retiring due to his declining health.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Cole Hyder; and brother, Donnie Cole.

Survivors include his sister, Ida (David) McGhee; two brothers, Herman (Connie) Cole and Dale(Jayne) Cole; several nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins.

A memorial service honoring George Cole’s life will be held at Good Shepard Baptist Church, Kingsport, Tennessee on Monday July 23, 2018 at 6:00pm.
