Obituary of Patricia Dawn Lawson-Flynn

Patricia Dawn Lawson Flynn, 46, of Church Hill went home to Heaven Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Patricia was the daughter of John Lawson and Lynda and Frank Eakins. Her life partner, Michael Williams. She was a hostess for most of her life, but first and foremost she was a loving mom to 2 amazing children, Austin Flynn (Samantha Atkins) and Jessica Griffiths (Gary Jr.). One of her favorite songs to sing was Victory in Jesus and now that is what she has now. No more pain, no more sorrow.

Welcoming her into heaven was her aunt Jeanette and friend for life Ginger.

Along with her parents and children she is survived by four grandchildren Elli, Daniel, Alani Mavis, and Dakari; brother, Justin Lawson and wife Becky of Surgoinsville; nieces and nephews, Alix and Myrtle Lawson, Chris Lawson (Courtney); brother, Johnny Smith; sister, Robin Smith; cousins, Jamie Fink (Rex) and Chad Vaydak; “Best of the Best” Friends Maureen, Louann, Nancy, Kayla, and many more.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm at Carter Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. A funeral service will follow with Rev. Andy Sensabaugh officiating. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Carter Trent Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
