Obituary of Wilbern Eldridge Cradic

Wilbern E. Cradic, 85, of Church Hill went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at his residence.

Wilbern was born on May 6, 1933 in Hawkins Co. to the late Ralph and Rosie Cradic. He was saved and baptized in 2016. He was a truck driver many years and a farmer his whole life. 

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jessica Cradic; brothers, Gene and Ralph Cradic; and sister, Wilma Housewright.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 64 years Betty Jo Cradic; daughter, Kathy Marshall and husband Mark; sons, David and Gary Cradic; grandsons, Shane and Joshua Cradic; 4 great grandchildren; brother, M.B. Cradic; brother in-laws, Eric Blevins and Wayne Housewright; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm at Carter Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Billy Linkous and Evangelist Darrell Thacker officiating.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 11am in Elm Springs Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:50am.
