Obituary of Barbara Sue Burchfield Vanover

Barbara Sue Burchfield Vanover, age 38, of Rogersville, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport. She enjoyed writing poetry, reading the Bible and singing. She had an extraordinary love for Jesus and a beautiful testimony. Most of all, she was a loving person who cared deeply for her family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Randall Burchfield.

She is survived by her mother, Lisa Lane Burchfield and fiancé, David Gulley, whom Barbara loved like a father; 3 children, Brittany Alexis Vanover, Wiley Vanover and Christian Randall Vanover; brother, Christopher Michael Lane; special uncle and caregiver, Terry Burchfield; and a host of extended family and friends.

There will be a Memorial Service held at 4:00 pm on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill with Pastor Jerry Webb officiating.
