Obituary of Steve Daniel Russell

Steve Daniel Russell, 64, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 19, 2018 at his residence.

Steve was born on August 24, 1954 to the late John and Virgie (Bartley) Russell in Kingsport, TN. He worked as a sales manager for Holston Distributing Co. for a number of years. Steve thoroughly enjoyed NASCAR, gardening, motorcycles, animals, and walking the Greenbelt; but his greatest joy was spending time with his family.

 

Along with his parents, Steve is preceded in death by his nephew, Michael Woodard.

 

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Brianne Russell and fiancée Crystal Clifton; daughter, Harley Mercadal and husband Eddie; grandson, Michael Clifton; sister, Rosalind Smith; niece, Jackie Salyers and husband Mark; and beloved dog, Izzie.

 

The family will have a private memorial in Steve’s honor at a later date.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Steve’s honor to Kingsport Animal Shelter – Petworks, 2141 Idle Hour Road, Kingsport, TN 37660.
