Obituary of Gloria Ann Livingston

Gloria Ann Livingston, age 72, of Bristol, VA, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Bishop Dean Livingston, together they served in full-time ministry, evangelizing, pastoring, singing and playing music. Gloria was not only the 1st Lady of Soul’s Harbor Church but also the church secretary for 36 years. She was an amazing wife, mother, Nana and will be greatly missed by her family.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her grandson, Dennis Livingston III; and parents, Bishop G.D. and Lou Peters.

She is survived by her son, Pastor Denny Livingston and wife, Alonna; daughter, Shana Livingston; grandchildren, Brittany Potter and husband, Jason, Angelynna Livingston, Hannah Livingston, Amelia Livingston, Faustino Livingston, Brooklyn Livingston and MaKendra Livingston; 2 great-grandchildren, Carter Livingston and Ana Potter; sister, Jewel Baker; 2 brothers, Pastor David Peters and wife, Cindy, and Jonathan Peters; special sister-in-law, Judy Livingston-Fleenor; several nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Lighthouse Church in Kingsport, TN. Funeral services will begin at 7:00 pm with Pastor Denny Livingston officiating. Entombment services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at East Lawn Memorial Park in Kingsport, TN.
