Obituary of Joyce Faye Hall

Kingsport – Joyce Faye King Hall, 62 of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on January 18, 2019 following a battle with cancer at the home of her sister, surrounded by her family. Joyce was born on June 21, 1956 in Kingsport where she had lived most of her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer King; sister, Stella Fields; brothers, Archie King and David King.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, Ruth King; daughter, Cristy McNutt (Rowdy); granddaughter, Laura Hall (David); great-granddaughter, Amelia Hall; great-grandson, Ezra Hall; sisters, Kathy Kiff (Melodie), Carolyn Hayes (Stephen); brother, Kenneth King (Geneva) & Walter Gray; best friend, Donnie Bledsoe; a host of nieces and nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, January 22, 2019  at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport.

A celebration of life service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Leonard Davis officiating.
