Obituary of Peggi S. Cook

Peggi S. Cook, of Church Hill, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 20, 2019. She was a former state indoor archery champion and was very proud of that accomplishment.

She enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening flowers. Most of all, she was a loving wife, amazing mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Frances Gammon, Jr.

She is survived by her loving husband, Rick Cook; 2 daughters, Connie Copas and husband, Gary, and Kim Kennedy and husband, Dale; 4 grandchildren, Robbie Krug (Brianna Taylor), Cody Krug, Brandon Anderson and wife, Esther, and Billy Anderson; 2 brothers, Sam Gammon and wife, Jeanie, and Mark Gammon; 3 sisters, Alice Fleenor, Bridgette Gammon-Esco and Jane Gammon; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

There will be a Memorial Gathering held from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in downtown Kingsport with Rev. Jack Edwards officiating.
