Obituary of Jimmy Lynn Bentley

Jimmy Lynn Bentley 66, of Rogersville went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at his residence. Jimmy was a member of Darthula Baptist Church. He was a loving father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Rosa Bentley; brothers, Jerry and Larry Bentley; sister, Mary Powers.

He is survived by his sons, Ricky Bentley and Chris Bentley and fiancé Brandi; grandchildren, Lauren and Isaac Bentley; great-grandson, Christopher Bentley; brothers, Pastor Layton Bentley and wife Brenda and Rev. J.W. Bentley and wife Wanda; mother of his children; Robin Stone; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5pm to 6pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Darthula Baptist Church in Hiltons, VA. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Layton Bentley and Rev. J.W. Bentley officiating.

A graveside service will follow at Darthula Baptist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
