Obituary of Tim Castle

Gate City – Timothy “Tim” Paul Castle, 58 of Gate City, VA went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center. Tim was an avid motorcyclist, loved playing Putt-Putt and restoring his 1969 Barracuda. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Castle.

Left to cherish his memory, are his wife, Lesa Poff Castle; son, Nick Castle; daughter, Amber Castle; mother, Wanda Jones; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Scott County Funeral Home in Weber City.

A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Don Brown and Matthew Browder officiating. Music will be provided by Neal and Teresa McMurray.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Holston View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nick Castle, Michael Poff, Michael Reynolds, Jonathan Blankenbeckler, Russ Hopkins, Dan Estes, Tony Strong, Sid France and Tony France. Honorary pallbearers will be Tim’s Putt-Putt Family. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the funeral home at 10 a.m. to go in procession to the cemetery.
