Obituary of Mary Earle Elliott

Mary Earle Elliott, age 95, of Gate City went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Holston Valley medical Center. Mary enjoyed cooking for her family and friends as well as spending time tending to her garden. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Euel Elliott; parents, Tyler and Anna Wilson; brothers, J.T. and Paul Wilson; sisters, Mable Shoun and Frances Smith.

Survivors include her sons, Dr. Euel Wilson Elliott and wife, Dr. Jayshree Bihari, and Marshall Seaver Elliott; daughter, Jo Ann Elliott; grandchildren, Shannon Miller and husband Anthony and Seaver Scott Elliott; great-grandchildren, Jaxson William Miller and Victoria Alexandria Miller; loyal companion, Lilly; along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 12pm to 1pm on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Layton Bentley officiating.

Graveside services will follow at Holston View Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
