Obituary of Sue Mosley

Kingsport – Evada Sue Welch Mosley, 71 of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Wexford House following an extended illness. She was a lifelong resident of Sullivan County. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her son, Daryl Fletcher; her parents, Cline and Lorene Carter Welch; sister, Pat Ray.

Sue is survived by her husband, Patton D. Mosley; daughter, Ronda Smith and husband Danny; sons, Patton David Mosley, Jr. and Scott Mosley; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sister, Debbie Rhoton and husband Roy; brothers, Eddie Welch and wife Madge, David Welch and wife Colleen and Mike Welch and wife Sharon; sister-in-law, Rosetta Bridwell and husband Larry; brothers-in-law Billy Ray and Ernie Mosley and wife Betty; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home.

A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joel Trigg officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2019 at Mountain Home National Cemetery.
