Obituary of Bobby Wayne Carberry

Bobby Wayne Carberry 71, of Afton, went to sleep in the Lord on Monday, July 8, 2019 at his residence. He was the owner and operator of B&S Amusement before his retirement. He was a member of The Way Ministry and loved to tell people about the Lord. Bobby could often be seen working on his backhoe at Gods Place off of Sullivan Garden’s Parkway. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing. Bobby was known for his work ethic and his love for his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruno and Skeets Littleton; daughter, Michelle Carberry; son, Big Jon Carberry; sister, Joyce Bird; brother, Mickey Carberry.

Survivors include his loving wife and lifelong companion, Sharon Carberry; sons, Robert Carberry and Jon K. Carberry; step-sons, Brian Bledsoe and wife Elizabeth, and David Bledsoe; grandchildren, Brittany Campbell and husband Michael, and Bobby Carberry; 2 great-granddaughters; sister, Betty Bryant; special nephew, Shannon Barrett and Carolyn; along with several other nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Kevin Carter officiating. The family will also receive friends anytime at their home.
