Obituary of Jill Ellen Murley
Jill Murley, age 70, of Kingsport passed peacefully surrounded by her children on July 17, 2019. Jill grew up in Westerville, Ohio, where she was a diver, cheerleader, and flautist. After marriage she moved to Racine, Wisconsin and then to Hendersonville, Tennessee where she raised her family. Jill owned her own sewing shop and was a talented seamstress. She earned her black belt in Wado-Ryu karate, enjoyed gardening, and volunteered at local schools. Later Jill moved to Kingsport, Tennessee to be closer to her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Murley, father Forest Moreland, mother Kathaleen Moreland, and brother Wendell Moreland.
Jill is survived by her former husband Cesar Mazuelos, daughters Jessica Chiochanyont (Craig) and Karina Mazuelos, son Kurt Mazuelos (Aaron), sisters Vicky Laek (Steve) and Charma Behnke (Eric), four grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12pm to 2pm on Friday, July 19, 2019 at Carter Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport, Tennessee.
