Obituary of Larry F. Tyree Sr.

Larry F. Tyree Sr. was born on September 22, 1945 in Kingsport, TN. to the late Ralph and Margaret Tyree. Larry went to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at his residence at the age of 73. Larry was of the Baptist faith and requested to be cremated with no funeral services.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by sister, Janice N. White; sister, Emma (Tyree) Hilton; and son, Donovan John Tyree.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Larry F. Tyree II; daughter, Mary Burks and husband Chris; granddaughter, Nicole Tyree; grandson, Nicholas Tyree; granddaughter, Victoria Burks; grandson, Wyatt Burks; and granddaughter, Dominique Tyree.

A military graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Mountain Home National Cemetery with American Legion Hammond Post #3/265 providing military honors. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery at 9:50 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Legion Hammond Post #3/265, 301 St. Louis St. Suite 301, Kingsport, Tennessee 37660 or to the Fraternal Order of The Eagles, P.O. Box 87, Kingsport, Tennessee 37662.
