Wanda Louise Hill 72, of Fort Blackmore went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as working in her flowers. Wanda was of the Methodist Faith and attended Starnes Bluff Methodist Church as a child. She was a loving mother, sister, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Almer Clyde Sr. and Ruby Elizabeth; brothers, Dennis, Wayne, and A.C. Jr.
Survivors include her son, Jason Hill; sisters, Wilma Williams and husband Dale, Kate Lane and husband Dewey, Mary Smith and husband Bill; brother, Gary Hill and wife Sara; special great-niece, Mattie Grace; sister-in-law, Lori Hill; along with several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11am on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Hill Family Cemetery in Ft. Blackmore with Pastor Riley Boy officiating. Music will be provided by the Durham Chapel Quartet. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50am.
