Obituary of Harry "Pat" Patrick Steadman
Harry Patrick “Pat” Steadman, 74 of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 13, 2019.
Pat grew up and lived his life in Kingsport and graduated from Ketron High School. He worked at Tennessee Eastman Company for 33 years. Pat was a loving husband, father, papaw, brother and uncle. He loved and coached girls’ softball with his two granddaughters for many years. Pat owned and operated Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream store in the Fort Henry Mall, Kingsport. Most of all, Pat loved his family and spending time with them, watching UT football was his passion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry R, Steadman and Elnora Crowder-Steadman.
He is survived by his wife, Rowena Davis-Steadman of Kingsport; daughter, Nicole “Nikki” Steadman-Harmon and husband Jack Martin Harmon, of Telford, TN; granddaughters, Megan Harmon Winterroth and Martina Harmon; great granddaughters, Layla Winterroth and Alexis Winterroth; brothers, Danny Steadman and wife Bonnie of Kingsport and Jerry Steadman of Whitesburg, TN; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 pm to 8 pm on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport.
A funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday October 16, 2019 at Mountain View Methodist Church, Kingsport with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating. Music will be provided by Pastor Craig Ponder. A graveside service will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park.
