Obituary of Eula Carolyn Allen
Ms. Eula Carolyn Allen, 70, of Kingsport went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, in the Holston Valley Medical Center. Her faith has now become sight!
Eula was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. She was the daughter of the late Edgar “Ed”and Ada Rhoton.
Eula was a faithful serving member of Tabernacle Baptist Church. She sang in the choir, helped in the nursery and served at the youth camp. Eula loved her church family and they loved her.
In addition to her parents, Eula was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Alexadria Thacker and several uncles and aunts.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary Elizabeth Arnold, Sarah Rebecca Allen and Hannah Ruth Allen; one brother, Emmit Douglas Rhoton; six granddaughter; three grandsons; one great granddaughter; several uncles, aunts, nieces, and nephews; a host of many friends.
The family of Ms. Eula Carolyn Allen will receive friends from 5 to 7 pm Friday, October 18, 2019, at Tabernacle Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 7 pm with Pastor Cecil Sturgill officiating. Music will be provided by Harold Lane. The graveside committal service will be conducted at 1 pm Saturday, at East Lawn Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 12:50 pm Saturday.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church Mission Fund or Tabernacle Baptist Church Lighthouse Youth Camp.
