Obituary of Elizabeth Frances McNutt

Elizabeth Frances McNutt 88, of Kingsport went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Elmcroft of Bristol, TN. Elizabeth was born in Sullivan County to the late Mack and Lillie White. She attended Pleasant View Baptist Church in Kingsport. Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and working in her flowers. She enjoyed summer vacation trips with her family to Florida and listening to Gospel music. Elizabeth was also an avid Nascar fan especially Dale Earnhardt. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents Elizabeth was preceded in death by her loving husband of 69 years, Walter McNutt; daughter, Loretta “Terri” McNutt Berry; sisters, Mary White, Sallie  White, Annie Porter, and Maggie McDavid; brothers, John White, J.D. White, Carp White, and Dock White.

Survivors include her daughters, Margaret Williams and husband Tony, Brenda McConnell and husband Bill, Cindy Moore and husband Ron; son, Jeff McNutt and wife Patti; son-in-law, Gary Berry; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, James White; sister, Estelle Staten; along with a host of friends and extended family.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 18, 2019 at Pleasant View Baptist Church from 11am to 1pm. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Wayne Baker officiating.

A graveside service will follow at East Lawn Memorial Park with Garrett McConnell, Dillon Moore, Brandon McConnell, Stacy Whitaker, Jesse Benton, Landon Taylor, and Jonathan Toof serving as pallbearers.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Pleasant View Baptist Church, West Colonial Hill Baptist Church, Elmcroft of Bristol, Avalon Hospice, and all of her loving neighbors and friends for their loving care.
