Obituary of Melissa Ann Ridings

Melissa Ann Ridings, 43, of Kingsport, passed away Monday, December 9, 2019, at her residence.

Melissa was a lifelong resident of Kingsport. She was the daughter of Charles Edward McCloud, Sr. and Mary Guy.

She was a member of New Testament of Jesus Christ. She enjoyed being with her children, working with crafts and hiking with her son.

Melissa loved her church family and enjoyed singing.

Survivors other than her parents include one son, Dylan Jetter; one daughter, Katelyn Falin; two brothers, Ed McCloud and Adam McCloud; two sisters, Pam McGhee and Misty Minor; step mother, Sandy McCloud; several nieces and nephews.

The family of Melissa Ann Ridings will receive friends from 12 to 1 pm Saturday, December 14, 2019, at New Testament of Jesus Christ. The funeral service will follow at 1 pm with Ronald Derrick and Pastor Paul Necessary officiating. The graveside committal service will follow in the Old Kingsport Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Dylan Jetter, Shawn Woods, Stevie Rasnick, Daniel Necessary, Arron McCloud and Cameron Crowe.
