Obituary of Charlotte Christine Wright

Kingsport - Charlotte Christine (Morley) Wright, 71, went to be with The Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at her home in Kingsport surrounded by family. She was born on October 12, 1948 in Bristol to the late Gordon and Virginia (Faidley) Morley. Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.  She will be sorely missed. Charlotte enjoyed quilting, reading, traveling and sharing good times with friends at the bowling alley. Charlotte relocated to Florida in 1980 where she worked for Walt Disney World until retiring after 28 years, to move back to Kingsport to enjoy retirement with her family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her sister Connie Larkins.

Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Harold Wright; daughters, Christine Dickman (Kyle) and Barbara Sauer (Patrick); 4 grandchildren, Michael Hedin, Jacob Hedin, Justin Sauer and Holly Sauer; 3 great-grandchildren, Kalia Hedin, Noah Hedin and Jonah Hedin; sister, Judy Matthews and brother Gordon Morley Jr.; several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Kingsport.

A funeral service will follow at 7 pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Andy Sensabaugh officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 11 am Friday, February 28, 2020 at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Kyle Dickman, Justin Sauer, Michael Hedin, Jacob Hedin, Ronnie Larkins and Hugh Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Patrick Sauer and Colin Smith. Those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery at 10:45 am.
