Sheila never took pics. I asked her a week before she passed we was at her house to take a selfie with me and she did. She was my momma when my momma died. Even tho she was my aunt my moms sister she treated me like her own. I have no one to talk to now. No one to call to ask about making mothers rolls. No one to call if kids are sick. I loved her so much she was a great mommy and aunt. And love my kids. Sheila didn’t have much. But she made the best of what she did have. And would always help if I needed and I helped her. I’m gonna miss seeing and calling her every day. And taking her cigarettes. Idk what imma do without my Sheila.

I had the pleasure of getting to know Shelia when we worked at Holston valley. Shelia was the type of woman who wld give all she had to a person in need. She had a soft spot for her friends, patients and especially children! She could light up a room with her kindness. She had a kind, wise and gentle soul. Shelia has left a permanent footprint on my heart! I am a better person having the pleasure of meeting and being friends with Sheila. I loved you then Shelia and I love you now. May God Bless Shelia in Heaven walking the streets of gold and safe in the arms of Jesus. May God Bless her family to carry on her legacy and her kindness.

I worked with Sheila for many years at Wal-Mart. I loved working with her. She would help you with anything and if you asked her opinion on something she told you what she thought and always told it like it was . That was one of her greatest qualities. My prayers go out to the family. I'm so very sorry. Love, Lorie Winegar Ewing
