Obituary of Hobert Gene Arnold

Hobert Gene Arnold, 65, of Weber City, VA, died Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Holston Valley Medical Center.

 

He was born on April 6, 1957 in Baltimore, MD. Hobert was a loving brother and uncle. He will be dearly missed.

 

Hobert was preceded in death by his parents, Hobert Smith Arnold and Hazel Ann (Price) Arnold; sister, Elizabeth Reed.

 

Survivors include his sister, Verdie Ann Oris; brother, Ronald Lee Arnold; several nieces and nephews.

 

Hobert will be laid to rest in the Bellamy Cemetery, Stanley Valley Rd, Gate City, VA with Pastor Pat McArthur providing words of comfort to the family in the private ceremony.

 

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ballad Health Hospice and the staff of W-3 at Holston Valley Medical Center as well as his special caregiver, Sandy Begley and special friend, Wanda Dougherty for all their loving care shown to Hobert.
