William Marcello

Obituary of William Allen Marcello

William Allen Marcello, 52, died suddenly on Monday, December 17, 2018 at his home in Kingsport, Tennessee. Bill was born in Manchester, N.H. on May 3, 1966 and was the son to the late Edward James and his mother Carol Marcello who resides in Revere, Mass.

Bill grew up in the great state of Maine which was always near and dear to his heart. As a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Bill proudly served and loved his country. For many years Bill has worked at the Riverfront Seafood Company Fresh Market and Grill and was a favorite of customers and colleagues he worked with over the years.

Billy was a sweet and loving soul-that would be the best way to describe him. He was one tough SOB, a Marine through and through. But his heart was gold and his mind was always in a place of how he could make his and the kids’ life better.

Other than his love for his family Billy was the biggest fan of Boston sports teams in the state of Tennessee. This year being able to celebrate on the phone with his family after the Red Sox won the World Series was a huge highlight of his year.

Bill’s family was his passion and love of life. He is survived by his wife Rhonda; his pride and joys in life-his three girls; Hannah Barrett, Gretchen and her husband Michael Blair and their children Brynlee and Harper, and Lily Enright. Bill is adored by his six siblings and their families; Michael and Laurie of Scarborough, Maine, late brother Matthew, Jennifer and Andrew Cook of Coventry, R.I., Gina and Keith Johnson of York, Maine, and Anthony Marcello of Boston, Mass. Bill was also an uncle to 16 nieces and nephews and a grand-uncle to four kids. Yes, a big family who was so proud of Bill and all that he accomplished in life.

His Memorial Mass will be held at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Scarborough, Maine on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 12:30 PM.

Flowers may be sent to:
