Susie I don't know if you remember me but I worked with Dennis for about 15 years at the Eastman. He was good man. He would play gospel music all the time and it was the kind that depressed me the old fashioned kind. He would just laugh and say that's good music. All his coworkers thought the world of him. I just wanted to say I'm so sorry for you and your family's loss. He was a pleasure to be around. I'm sorry that it's taken me so long to write this but I don't take a paper and my friend told me about his death. Fond memories of him always. Love Pat

I worked with Dennis for a little while at Eastman in Building 267. He was a great friend and coworker and definitely a pleasure to know and work with. My fondest memory of him is working with him on his last day as an LSE. I remember him bringing in a little bag of trinkets that he had carved. I was fascinated by the talent, time, and patience that it took to create them all. Obviously a very talented and creative man. Prayers for God's Peace and Comfort for his family. Till we meet again, my friend.

The family has lost a wonderful member but many of us have lost a very close friend. Dennis came into our lives several years ago and he maintained a firm footing there. Dennis was never in too big of a hurry to not stop and speak to you. In doing so, he let you know your friendship was important to him. Always slow and easy going, I never heard an offensive word from his mouth or ill will toward his fellow man. It made me happy just to know that he had started singing in public, his talent was just blooming. Our prayer is that the family finds peace and comfort in knowing where Dennis is now and living to join him again. God Bless each of you.

Susie and Family, Our hearts are breaking with yours. Heaven must have needed Dennis playing in their "Angel Band". The John Pafford Band will not be the same without him. Dennis singing "Little White Church " and "Beulah Land" will be greatly missed . No one will be able to do Dennis's rooster crowing for " Ghost Chickens". So many good memories of Dennis. His red handkerchief in his back pocket. His love and compassion for the folks in the nursing homes. We'll be missing him at every gig. I'll miss him phoning and saying "this is old Dennis". Our love, thoughts and prayers are with you always but especially at this difficult time . Gilda and John

I have known Dennis for about 55 years. He was one of the special friends I met when we moved to Kingsport from Ohio. Over the years we lost contact until he started coming to Weber City Church of God on the Tuesday night service. I love his singing and his music playing, but I will mostly miss his radiant smile. He was a wonderful man of God. See you soon Dennis, save me a place at Jesus' feet. May God grant the peace that passes understanding to his precious family. Love Lowell
