Dave and kids, I will be praying for you all in the days and weeks ahead that God will give an abundance of grace, mercy, and compassion to you and your family.

My deepest condolences to family and friends. I only knew Jennifer for four brief years in High School, but I remember her well - brilliant, funny, gentle and genuine. Even after all the years that have passed, I was shocked and saddened by the news.
Sending my love and deepest sympathies to the Ridlen and Skotty families.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
My deepest condolences go out to the family of Jennifer. I met Jennifer in the the 2nd grade when I transferred to Parkview Elementary Jennifer welcomed me in and we became quick friends. Jennifer along with Kelly Reed, Dawn Sheik, and Tracy Perkins were so kind to the new girl. We remained good friends all through middle school and even carpooled together to Granite City High. She was always smart. so smart she was the kind of friend and classmate that challenged us all to do better. I remember when the song Jenny 867-5309 came out how we changed it to Jenny 931-5620 and sang it to her and I never forgot her phone number because of that song. I'm so glad to have known her and hate that she is gone from us way too soon. My heart breaks for her family, my thoughts and prayers are with you.
I am terribly sorry to hear of the loss of Jennifer. May the God of all comfort provide your family with strength during this very difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3,4)

My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of working for and with Jennifer. She will be missed. Prayers to the family.
I was saddened to hear this tragic news. Jennifer and I were classmates together and worked at our first jobs together at Pizza Hut in GC. Somewhere there's a Pizza Hut commercial that we did together - circa 1986. Your wife, mother, sister, and daughter was always a kind, helpful, and intelligent person to talk with in class and at work. She obviously had a successful family life and career. I am so sorry for your loss, and will keep Jennifer and your family in my thoughts.
My deepest sympathies and condolences to the Skotty and Ridlen families. I am deeply saddened at the loss of such a kindhearted, generous and wonderful colleague and friend. Both professionally and personally Jennifer went above and beyond to help. She visited me during my maternity leave and brought lunch to give me a much-needed break. She checked in both during and after my maternity leave and shared stories about her children. I remember her beautiful smile but most of all her zest for life. Jennifer touched so many lives with her kindness. I’m grateful that I had a chance to get to know her both as a colleague and friend.
I had the pleasure to work with Jennifer for many years. Jennifer always had a smile on her face and was always happy. She always made time to stop and asked me about my kids and how I was doing. She was a special person and cared deeply about her co-workers and it showed that she had a deep love for her family! I am so sorry for you loss and I am praying for the family!
Dear Ridlen Family,
I cannot express the depth of my sorrow and dismay over hearing about the untimely passing of Jennifer. While we all go our separate ways as life progresses, one never forgets home and the people with whom they grew up. I am so sorry for your loss and will pray for you all.
To the Skotty Family,
I grew up with "The Ridlen Girls" going to school with Jennifer's older sister, Julie, from kindergarten through high school. Super people, all three of them and Jennifer will be missed. I am so very sorry for your loss and will pray for you all as well.
Dearest members of the Family of Jennifer Ridlen Skotty,
My deepest and heartfelt condolences for the loss of your wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. I grew up down the street from Jennifer in Granite City. We attended the same elementary, middle and high school’s together. At Parkview Elementary, we were especially close and had a tight group of friends and teachers. It was a special time. Because Jennifer and I were just a block away, we’d walk home from school together, ride bikes to each other’s houses, sleepovers, birthdays, etc. There are some photos out there from the 70s that should probably never been shown, but looking back at them now brings a smile to my face.
Although we lost touch after high school, I have never forgotten my first real friends, and Jennifer was one of the best! Forever Rest In Peace, Jennifer
I pray for love, peace and understanding for your family at this difficult time.

I’m so saddened to learn of Jennifer’s passing. She was such a joy to be around and very kind. I have worked around Jennifer for many years and she was a regular attendee in my fitness classes. She will be greatly missed. May your family have comfort during this difficult time. I will not be able to attend her memorial service as I’m away on vacation, but plan to make a donation in her memory.
I was blessed to have worked with Jennifer and for Jennifer, but I was more blessed to have her as a friend. You will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to her family that she loved dearly.
I had the pleasure of working for Jennifer for several years. She was definitely one in a million. Always friendly, compassionate, and caring. Her love for her family was obvious. I was blessed to have known her and she will be greatly missed by many. Many prayers for her family and friends.
