Obituary of Jeff Goode

Jeffrey “Jeff” Lynn Goode 50, of Limestone went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 29, 2019. Jeff was an electrician for more than 20 years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Jeff was a loving husband, daddy, brother, and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Jr. and JoAnn Goode; brother, Christopher Goode, nephew, Chad Salyer; uncle, J.B. Mowell; maternal grandparents, Jesse and Kate Mowell; paternal grandparents, Bill and Nancy Goode.

Survivors include his loving wife of 28 years, Treasa Goode; sons, Christopher Goode and Zachary Goode and wife Carla; brothers, Jimmy Goode and wife Ronda, and Dwight Goode and wife Kathy; sisters, Teresa Salyer and husband Ronnie, Lisa Harris and husband Glen, and Patricia Helton and husband Billy; special friend who was like a son, Cody Morrison; best friend, Zack Maynard; all of his friends/family from the construction industry; beloved dog, Chomper; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12pm to 2pm on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Mike Hubbard officiating.

Graveside services will follow at Old Union UMC Cemetery with Jimmy Goode, Travis Chandler, Todd Reynolds, Joseph Helton, Josh Rose, and Cody Morrison serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dwight Goode, JimBob Reed, Jamie Ward, and Josh Hammonds.
