Obituary of Randall Raymond Housewright

Randall Raymond “Junior” Housewright, 51, went to be with the Lord on October 2, 2019, after a lengthy illness. Randall was lifelong resident of Sullivan County. He was a 1987 graduate of Sullivan North High School. Randall worked for several years at Kingsport Times News as a bundle Hauler. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by Raymond and Betty Housewright.

He leaves behind one loving sister, Lisa Allgood and husband Roger; two nieces Josie Allgood and Abbie Allgood; nephew, Aaron Allgood; along with many loving aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends from 6pm to 7pm on Sunday, October 6, 2019, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown, Kingsport. A funeral service will follow with Pastor Chris Fields officiating.  Music will be provided by Melissa Fields.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1pm on Monday, October 7, 2019, at Oak Hill Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 12:50pm Monday.
