I have known Dorothy as "Dot" for 55 years and cherish our friendship. We worked together in various church callings and our sons, Jason and Jonathan, grew up together and enjoyed playing and watching basketball games. Each fall and summer, several close friends would hold a "potato fry" and swap stories, eat, and laugh together. I can remember several trips when Linda Blevins, Ann Carver, Dot, and I would travel to Gatlinburg in the fall. As we drove through the mountains, we would bring everyone up to date on our families. We shared each others joys and sorrows through the years. As our health started to decline, we encouraged and supported each other. Dot was a very loving friend and I know I will be able to see her smiling face again.
