We are sorry to hear about Aunt Bobby, she was always cheerful and took time to spend with her family. I miss the days as a kid going to the Colvin reunion and spending time with her and the family. We are thinking of you all, especially Uncle Coy, and the rest of the family and will keep you in our prayers. We pray the Lord gives you peace, and we know we have a blessed promise if we know the Lord as Saviour, we will see her again someday!

To all of Barbara's family: I have many fond memories of Barbara from church to her working at Woolworth's. She and another friend from church were gift attendants at Delmer's and my wedding. When my grandmother and dad were both sick, she and Coy were faithful in visting them. They were also faithful in coming by when God called my late husband Delmer home. They told me that I ever needed to talk to not hesitate to call. I never did; however, I know that if I had, they would not have minded at all. It made me feel good knowing that if I wanted that I could call them. She was also faithful in e-mailing me when Delmer and I were married. In one of her e-mails she needed a speaker for Baptist Women's Day. One of the women from church, who had been a missionary, was speaking that morning. One position was already filled for the evening, and she needed two more. It was during the winter. Snow was being predicted for the weekend, so Delmer and I stayed in Norfolk. I told her that if she ever needed me to speak that I would. Barbara was also humble. Even so she stood up for what she believed. I always admired her for that. Singing in choir with Barbara was always a blessing. Now she is singing with the heavenly choir. Her goal of traveling to all 50 states is very admirable, and I am glad that she was able to achieve it. My prayer is that God will comfort you in the loss of your foved one. What a blessing to know that we will see her again one of these days!

Coy,Violet, and Terry so sorry to hear about the passing of Barbara. I will always remember those Friday night Lynn View football games. Our moms worked in the concession stand together. Barbara always was laughing about something.

Ann - I am so very sorry to read the news of your mom. I know how close you two were and I know this must be heartbreaking. Though your mom is "going where there is no more pain", that doesn't mean there is no more pain for you. I hope that God gives you some extra love in the next few months and years. I will always remember your mom for her feisty-ness... there isn't a more perfect word to describe her. Plus, she raised you so I always knew she MUST be amazing.
Love to you now and forever - Julie Sproles
