One of my most favorite memories of my friendship with Connie was when she spent time teaching me how to sew a beautiful quilt… as in addition to her faith in Jesus and many hours of prayer…she was extremely skilled at making the most beautiful quilts ever!!! My memories of her will be forever cherished… as she was a very special human being and she will be missed. My most heartfelt condolences go out to Ken, Andy, and Holly and the many people who loved her and whose lives she touched by her love of God and humanity.

To Connie's family. What a blessing it was to know Connie through Higher Ground Baptist Church. She was a precious lady and friend, whom I first met after the loss of my father. This was my first contact with the Martha Ministry. What a blessing that was to me and my family. Connie ask me that day to join Martha Ministry and I did. Such à blessing it was to experience this ministry from both sides, receiving and giving. I was also in the choir with Connie. She was such a blessing and inspiration to all who knew her. She will be sorely missed, but what a great reunion day she is having with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Connie was a wonderful person who never had a negative thing to say and was always encouraging and smiling. Her smile was contagious. I loved playing sports with her. If she was on your team you were going to have a good time. I’m so sorry for your family Ken - I’ll be thinking and praying for you all.

We love Connie and Ken Jones and family, they’ve been dear friends for many years. We shared co-Ed volleyball with them for many yrs. As was mentioned in her obituary, she gave 100% all the time no matter what the score! We also joined them in teaching in Awana at Boones Creek Bible Church for many years. Connie will be dearly missed by all, but now ALS nor any other disease will bother her new body in Christ. We send our love and prayers for Grace during this tough time.

Ken, Andy and Holly, I am so sorry to hear the news about Connie. She was an amazing person who would do anything to help someone in need, but also truly brightened the lives of everyone who knew her. I think back of all of those great years of volleyball tournaments and how much fun we had, and the one thing I will always remember was that it was impossible to be in a bad mood around her. She would always have us all laughing and cutting up, and truly brought out the best in everyone. My condolences and prayers to the family as she will be missed.

This was the love of my life, my best friend, soul mate, spouse and loving mother and grandmother (Mimi). She loved people and never knew a stranger and even through all the trials of ALS these past 3 years was always encouraging others. You will always be loved and missed so very much.
