Obituary of Marvin Leon Boyd

Marvin Leon Boyd 83, of Kingsport passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024. Leon loved golf, camping, woodworking, playing bridge, and dancing with his wife. He retired from Eastman Chemical Company after decades of work as a civil engineer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Madison and Carrie Boyd; His wife of 57 years, Shirley Boyd; daughter, Rebecca McPeak and her husband Bob.

Survivors include his grandson, Matthew McPeak and wife Destiny; brother-in-law, Billie Joe Steele and wife Christine. As well as many other friends and family members.

No formal service will be conducted.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Amedisys Hospice for the unwavering care and support.
