Obituary of Tommy J. Kaylor

Tommy J. Kaylor, 73, of Kingsport passed away on Friday October 24, 2014 at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Tommy was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing and enjoyed playing cards. Tommy is preceeded in death by his father Elmer Lee "Buster" Kaylor. He is survived by his loving wife Jean Kaylor; mother, Wanda Kaylor Necessary; son, Ricky Kaylor; daughter, Tammy McDavid and husband Randy, Karen Fansler and husband J.P., Debbie Vermillion and husband Scott, Cynthia Gibson and husband David; step-daughter, Reva Starnes; step-son, Tommy Starnes; grandsons, Shane McDavid, Nathan Fansler, Nick McDavid, Evan Gibson, Dylan Kaylor, Cody Kaylor and Gabriel Vermillion; grand-daughters, Tia Jenkins, Laken Fansler, Kody Vermillion, Samantha Gibson, Kirstie Price; great-grandsons, Mason Price, Bo Jenkins; great granddaughters, Trysten McDavid; brother, David Kaylor and wife Geri; sister, Julie Dorton; along with several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Wayne Carter. The family will receive friends from 12 pm to 1 pm on Monday October 27, 2014 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport. A graveside service will follow at 1 pm at Oak Hill Memorial Park with grandsons serving as pallbearers. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the Kaylor family.
