Obituary of Edith Ann Hanson

Edith Ann Hanson, 63, of Blountville, passed away Wednesday August 6th, 2014 at Bristol Regional Medical Center due to health issues. Born in Scott County, she has lived in this area most of her life. Edith's health prevented her from being active in recent years; but she loved her family and stayed in touch with them daily. She is survived by her son, Keith Hanson and wife Rena, Kingsport; daughters, Sheila Blair and husband Mitchell, Dalton, Ga and Stephanie Hanson, Fall Branch, TN; seven grandchildren, Brittany Hanson, Hailey Wright, Jesse Wright, Taylor Blair, Caleb Blair, Josh Collingsworth and Michael Hanson; several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 11 till 1pm Saturday (August 9th, 2014) at Scott County Funeral Home. A service will follow at 1pm with her brother, Bro. Jackie Amos and brother in law, Bro. Lowell Knowles officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow in the Hensley- Falin Cemetery in Kermit.
