Obituary of Larry Junior Noel

Larry Junior Noel, 57, of Surgoinsville, went to be with the Lord early Wednesday morning (July 23, 2014) at his residence following a brief illness. He was born in Kingsport and had resided the majority of his life in Surgoinsville. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Larry worked at Courtesy Chevrolet for over 35 years and was currently working for Kia of Kingsport. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson and enjoyed camping. He was preceded in death by his father, Stickley Noel. Larry Noel is survived by his son, Kevin Noel and Sarah Muncy; a grandson, Zak Noel; his mother, Shirley Carter and husband, Joseph; a sister, Barbara Royal and husband, Kerry; his niece, Janie Pavlunenko; nephew, Dustin Royal along with a best friend, Joe Taylor. The family will receive friends from 11 am to 12 noon on Friday, July 25, 2014 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport. A military graveside service will be conducted by the Hawkins County Color Guard at 1 pm at Mountain Home National Cemetery with Dr. Cecil Sturgill officiating. Pallbearers will be Hawkins County Color Guard. Carter-Trent Funeral Home downtown Kingsport is serving the Noel family.
