Obituary of Willie Crawford

William Ralph " Willie" Crawford Jr , 56, passed away unexpectedly Monday June 23rd, 2014. Willie has lived in the Kingsport/ Scott County area most of his life. He worked for some years at J. P. Stevens and in later years at the BP in Weber City. He was an avid gun collector and trader. Tho his health prevented him from doing many things in recent years, he enjoyed cooking in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his mother, Charcel Annette Phillips; father, William Ralph Crawford Sr and sister, Katina Barnette. He is survived by his sister, Rebecca Smith, Greeneville, TN; brother, Nick Depew and wife Bonnie, Kingsport; three nephews, Jon Barnette and Jeffrey and Derek Depew A graveside service will be conducted at 10am Friday at Holston View Cemetery. Those who plan to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery by 9:50. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Willie. Carter-Trent/ Scott County Funeral Home is serving the Crawford family.
