Obituary of Mary L. Rhoton

Mary L. Rhoton, 81, of Daniel Boone community, went to be with the Lord (Friday February 7th, 2014) at the home of her son. She was born and has lived most of her life in Scott County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Harold Rhoton; one brother, Harlan Lane; two sisters, Sheryl Stokes and Nell Lane. She is survived by her three sons, Mike Rhoton and wife Sandra, Greg Rhoton and wife Sherrie and Tracy Rhoton; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Edna Carico and husband Lesie; three nieces and two nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 till 7pm Monday (February 10th, 2014) at Scott County Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 7pm with Rev. R.D. Stallard officiating. A graveside service will be at 11am Tuesday (February 11th, 2014) at Holston View Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Powers, Shannon Rhoton, Benjamin Cody Hill, Shawn Rhoton, Gary Walters and Larry Bartlett. Special thanks to Darlene Walters and Sherry Bartlett for all they've done. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family toward their expenses.
