Obituary of Vikki Lynn McDavid

We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. II Corinthians 5:8 Kingsport - Vikki Lynn McDavid, 43, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord early Sunday morning, January 19, 2014. Vikki touched the life of everyone she met in her life. She was a very special person and will be missed so very much. Vikki was highly faithful in going to church and serving the Lord. Her home churches were Browders Chapel (Scott Co., VA) and Full Gospel Church of Christ (Yuma, VA) Vikki was preceded in death by her mother, Nancy Puckett, two infant brothers and maternal grandfather, Worley Hutson. She is survived by her sister, Vonda Hobbs and husband Tony; brother, Brian Puckett and girlfriend, Misty; sister, Cassandra McDavid; maternal grandmother, Gertrude Hutson; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 2 pm to 5 pm at Browders Chapel Church with Pastor Kyle Falin officiating. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport is serving the McDavid family.
