I will always remember the times we had together. When you were stationed in South Korea and I was 16, we had the blizzard of 78 Paul and I wrote you letters and sent you pictures of all the snow back home in Brockton. You sent Paul and I matching sweatsuits with the # 4 & 7 on them we loved those an wore them all the time as kids.
I remember all the fishing trips at the cranberry bog pond in Hanson with grandpa Ackerman, dad, Paul, you, and I. We caught a lot of stumps, snapping turtles, mosquito bites, and a few fish. But always a lot of fun and great family memories. The four Kelley boys enjoyed our Chinese food at the Yangtze in West Bridgewater. I remember our road trips to Atlantic City to win our fortunes..we had a lot of laughs and we would always scrape together some change to make it home to pay the tolls. Needless to say we did not leave millionaires! I know you are in heaven with grandma and grandpa Ackerman, mom and dad, Richard & Danny, at the big poker game in the sky. I love you and miss you.
Your little brother,
Jimmy

My heart goes out to each of you. We have shared so much through the years. I will always have wonderful memories of Phil ... I can see him laughing and playing and keeping Dusty, P.J., and my C.J. all in line. I can see all his love for these boys and his family; and that special love shared with Fonda. Phil is no longer suffering and he has stood before our Holy Lord ... he is happy and whole and we will see him again.
Much Love and Deepest Sympathy,
Wilma and The Ward Boys (C.J. & Mercedes and Gene)

Phillip (Bimbo) what can I say. It's snowing here at home and it brings back memories of us sledding down Brook St. trying to reach James Edgar playground. Having are tongues stick to the runners in the cold. Who's idea was that? High school and Mary Ann you never let me for get that. R&R in Japan we laughed and laughed. Two 19yr olds drinking coke's and talking about Brockton High. Then you returned to Viet Nam I was broke and you had a quarter to your name. You gave it to me as that was the cost of a bed for the night at Camp Zama. You had a heart of gold and was always the first to respond to a family or friends problem. The love of your family, Fonda, Bryant, Dusty, PJ Rachel and Amanda. Your sister and brothers and Aunt Polly, You got me through some tough times with no questions asked. All though you were sick you always asked about Amy and how she was doing. I know you will have some pull up in heaven put a word in for Amy. Phil I could go on and on I know all you ever wanted was to be loved and you were. May God hold you and your family in his arms. I love you Phil. God Bless and may you rest in peace. The little people can't hurt you anymore. Old Man McClaren, I'll miss not hearing that from you anymore.

My uncle Phil used to offer me $20 for every hubcap I could get off of a moving car. He was funny like that. I find myself telling his same jokes and following his example of an uncle. He and Fonda used to take my brother and me to DC for Vietnam war rallies and those experiences influenced my life deeply. I'll miss you Phil. Love, j
