Obituary of Cyndee Anne DeZarn

Kingsport - Cyndee Anne DeZarn, 49 of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on January 1, 2014 at Holston Valley Medical Center following a long illness. Born in Kingsport, Cyndee had lived in Mt. Juliet for 30 years before moving back to Kingsport. She was an assistant administrator for Mid-Cumberland Human Resources Agency in Nashville. She was a member of Hickory Hills Baptist Church in Mt Juliet where she enjoyed working with the youth of the church.
She was preceded in death by her infant sister, Debra DeZarn; her brother, Kevin DeZarn and her father, Edward DeZarn.
Cyndee is survived by her mother, Louise DeZarn of Kingsport; sister, Sharon Ketron and husband Jeff of Kingsport; brother, Tony DeZarn of Kingsport; niece, Katie Hoke.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, in Kingsport, TN.
Cyndee will be taken to the Hermitage Funeral Home in Hermitage, TN where the family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Sunday with a funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Dan Millikan will officiate.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport is serving the Dezarn family.
