Obituary of Mylan Mathias Kiser

Mylan Mathias Kiser, four-year-old son of David Kiser and Virita Fritz, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 3, 2013. Mylan was born in Kingsport, where he lived with his father, mother, and older brother, Mason Kiser. Mylan was a beautiful, happy child who loved deeply and cared for those around him. Mylan is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Irene Fritz and uncle, Kirk Fritz, both of Kingsport, and paternal grandfather Elihu Tase Kiser of Appalachia, Virginia. Surviving other than his parents and brother Mason are older siblings Morgan and Michael Droke and Raven and Tase Kiser, all of Kingsport; maternal grandfather Bob Fritz of Kingsport; paternal grandmother Princess Kiser of Kingsport; uncles Rolf Fritz of Greeneville, TN, Erik Fritz & wife Robin of Kingsport and Alec Fritz of Kingsport; aunt Jane Peterson & husband Mike; nieces Kelly, Aliah, and Lexani; nephew Rylan, all of Kingsport; a special great-aunt Brenda Stevens of Kingsport; cousins, Amanda, Erin, Josh Peterson, Heidi and Petra Fritz; close family friends Irene & Dwight Moody, Adam Chase, Roger Horton, Paige Way and Ricky Ellis, all of Kingsport; along with many other extended family members. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga Street, Kingsport. Funeral services will follow with Pastor Mike Stout officiating. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Sunday at Oak Hill Memorial Park, Kingsport. Pallbearers will be Rolf Fritz, Erik Fritz, Alec Fritz, Michael Droke, and Tase Kiser. Honorary Pallbearer will be Mason Kiser. Family and friends attending the graveside services are asked to meet at Carter-Trent at 12 noon.
