Obituary of Beth Ann Hamm

Beth Ann Hamm, 44 of Church Hill, went to be with the Lord Tuesday September 3, 2013 at UNC Chapel Hill Medical Center following a brief but courageous battle with Leukemia. Born in Adams, Massachusetts, she has lived in several parts of the country; and in the last several years she made East Tennessee her home. She helped many people in her life as a CNA in home health care and hospice. Beth loved to read and also to work in her garden, having gotten her green thumb from her dad. Her first love and whole life was her children and making sure they were taken care of. She is survived by her loving husband, Bret Hamm; two daughters, Sarah Tuscano and Harlie Jo Hamm; son, Paul Tuscano; parents, Kenneth and Susan Bernier; two brothers, Kenneth Bernier II of Indiana, and Jonathan Bernier of Ohio; mother in law, Janie Hamm; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Beth asked that she be cremated and that any services be private; however nothing would please her more than to have donations be made to a college fund for her youngest, Harlie Jo.
