Obituary of Janett Cline

Janett Cline, 83, of Kingsport, passed away Monday afternoon, July 29, 2013 at Indian Path Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was born in Bourbon, Indiana, and was a former resident of Bremen, Indiana and has lived in Kingsport for the past 41 years. Mrs. Cline was retired from Indian Path Medical Center in 1994 as a Scrub Tech LPN after 26 years of service. She was a founding member of Christ Fellowship Church serving in many capacities. She was a volunteer at Small Miracles. The family would like to thank her pastor and church family, neighbors, Dr. Cynthia Poortenga, and the staff of Indian Path Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Edna (Faulkner) Haff. Surviving are her loving husband of 64 years, James (Jim) Cline of the home; son, William (Bill) Cline and wife, Darla of Quebeck, TN; a daughter, Sheryl Cline of Kingsport and a sister, Sharon (Haff) Tharp and husband, Rev. James Tharp of Knoxville and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Christ Fellowship Church, 260 Victory Lane, Kingsport, TN with officiating Pastor Greg DePriest. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
