Obituary of Tommy Thacker

Tommy Thacker, Jr, 45, of Church Hill, went to be with the Lord (Friday October 31, 2014) He worked for several years for the City Of Church Hill in the water sewage plant. He was an active member of the Church Hill Fire Department. Tommy loved fishing and hunting, his GSXR motorcycle and old cars and going to the car shows. He was predeceased by his parents, Tom and Gladys Thacker He leaves to cherish his memory, Fiance', Donna Mallory; son, Jordan Thacker; sister, Tammy Taylor and husband, Mark; special uncle, B.D. Cradic; special aunt, Shirley Williams; half sister, Thelma Ford; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends The family will receive friends from 11 till 1pm Tuesday (November 4th, 2014) at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill or anytime at the home of his fiance', Donna. A service will follow at 1pm with his cousin, Rev. Marty Shelton officiating and personal words from his uncle, Pastor B.D. Cradic Burial will follow at Elm Springs Cemetery, Church Hill. Pallbearers will be Mark Taylor, Randy Cradic, Jordan Thacker, Mickey Shelton, Curtis Drinnon and members of the Church Hill Fire Department. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church Hill is serving the Thacker family.
