Obituary of Nina Pearl Burton

Nina Pearl Burton, age 85, of Church Hill, entered into eternal rest on, Tuesday, October, 28, 2014, at Holston Manor in Kingsport. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Parvin Burton; parents, T.J. and Alice Pearson; and 3 brothers, T.J., Emory and Sam Pearson. She is survived by her daughters, Frances Parker and husband, Doug, and Judy Shook; grandchildren, Kevin Burton and fiance', Amy Dittle, Tim Gardner of Texas, Ginger Southerland and husband, Scott of Johnson City, and Chad Shook of Houston, TX; 2 step-grandsons, Brian Parker and wife, Meg, of Lebanon, VA, and Brent Parker of Johnson City; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Pearson and wife, Blanche; very special sister-in-law, Addie Pearson; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to especially thank the staff of Holston Manor for their care and support during this time. There will be a graveside service held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Mountain Home National Cemetery in Johnson City. All those wishing to attend are asked to meet at the cemetery.
