Obituary of Deborah Elaine Moorefield

Deborah Elaine Moorefield, 56 of Blountville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Holston Valley Medical Center following a long illness. She was born in Bristol, TN and had lived in Kingsport for several years before moving to Blountville. She was a retired CNA and enjoyed taking care of others. Deborah was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Thompson Smith. Deborah is survived by her daughter, Michelle Moorefield; son, Randall Moorefield, Jr.; father, Herbert Smith; grandchildren, Emily Moorefield and Ashley Waller; sister, Una Smith; brothers, Garry Smith and Jerry Smith; several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Saturday, September 20, 2014, at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, downtown Kingsport with Bro. Howard Estepp and Bro. Corey Brooks, officiating. A visitation will follow. Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Kingsport is serving the Moorefield family.
