Obituary of Deborah Riner

Deborah "Debbie" Riner, 62, of Kingsport, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 05, 2014 at her residence after a long illness. Debbie was a woman of faith who trusted in Jesus. She was retired and was previously employed as a school bus driver. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandmother, Rosie Riner; mother and step father, Claude and Betty Jo Robinson and a brother, Doug Riner. Debbie is survived by her sisters, Lorene "Renie" Langman, Teresa Light and Michelle Kerney; brothers, Claude "Jay" Robinson and Porter "Blue" Robinson; father and step mother, Grady and Nancy Riner; step brother, Greg Pierce; sisters, Kimberly Riner, Roslyn Nunley and Carla Sue Olterman; a brother, Dee Riner; special sisters, Brenda Kennedy, Melinda Fugate, Connie Puskac, Geri Lyons; adopted mom, Jean Jobe; special friend, Craig Clark and faithful companion Dylan. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 pm on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga St., Kingsport, TN. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Friday, August 8, 2014 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor David Townsend officiating. Eulogies and music will be provided by Ray and Shonnie Long. A graveside service will follow at Oak Hill Memorial Park. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her loving caregivers.
