Obituary of Gary Dean Frazier

Gary Dean Frazier, 66, of Church Hill, passed away unexpectedly (July 12th, 2014) at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center. Born in Coeburn, Virginia, he has lived in East Tennessee/ Southwest Virginia all his life. Gary worked at AFG for over 30 years. He loved racing late model cars, horseback riding, hunting, fishing but most importantly, loving his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Clyde (Anna) Frazier; brothers, Lynn Frazier, Richard (Dick) Frazier and sister, Judy Gray He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Billie "Sharon" Frazier; two sons, Chris Frazier and wife Sherry and Chad Frazier and fiance' Jennifer; brother, Mike Frazier; sister in law, Shelby Jean Frazier; nine grandchildren, Amanda and fiancé, Eric, Chris Frazier, Jr, Whitney and husband Nathan, Jesicca, Tanner, Lily, Toby, Heather and Justin; nine great grandchildren, Gabriel, Nevaeh, Jordan, Taylor, Chase, Ella, Jackson, Abby and Austin; Aunt, Jane Ketron, cousins, Charles and Jason Pendleton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends from 3 till 4pm Saturday (July 19th, 2014) at Scott County Funeral Home. A service of remembrance and celebration will follow with family and friends sharing from their heart about what Gary meant to them. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family toward any expenses. Carter-Trent/ Scott County Funeral Home is serving the Frazier family.
