Obituary of Aleah Kay Hicks

Aleah Kay Hicks, infant daughter of Ronald and Amanda Lord Hicks, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Indian Path Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ashley Hicks; maternal grandfather, Enos "June Bug" Lord; her great grandparents and a great aunt, Eloise Ellis. Surviving other than her parents are her big brother, Ashton Hicks, sister, Anna Hicks; maternal grandmother, Brenda Ellis Lord; paternal grandparents, Ronnie and Jean Harris Hicks; uncles, Daniel Hicks and wife, Samantha and John Lord; great uncle, Philip Ellis; great aunts, Faye Smith and husband Harold and Barbara Childress and husband, Gary; special cousins, Isaac, Dallas, Emily and Sara. A Graveside Service will be held at 3 pm Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Oak Hill Memorial Park with Pastor Craig Needham officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery at 2:50 pm. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Fogg and the nurses at the Birthplace Center at Indian Path Medical Center. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the parents, Ronald and Amanda Hicks, 1412 Haga Rd., Kingsport, TN 37660.
