Obituary of Thomas Wane Harville

Thomas Wayne Harville,, Sr., 72, of Kingsport, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 after a brief illness. He was born in Kingsport and had lived here all his life. Mr. Thomas retired from Holliston Mills Corp. as a Pasting Inspector after twenty one years of service. He served in the U. S. Army. Mr. Harville loved going to flea markets, NASCAR and drag racing. He was a loving companion, father, grandfather and friend. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ward Harville, parents, Clarence and Ruby Barr Harville. Surviving are his loving companion, Kate Vicars; daughter, Michelle Webb; sons, Thomas Wayne Harville, Jr. and wife, Rita, Timothy Scott Harville all of Kingsport and Gary Dewayne Harvel and wife, Rachel of Bristol, VA; ten grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Carter-Trent Funeral Home, 520 Watauga St., Kingsport. Memorial contributions may be made to the family C/O Tim Harville, 1886 Kenwood Rd., Kingsport, TN 37664. The family would like to extend a special thank you to nursing staff of CCU at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center and to the staff of the 600 Wing of Holston Manor.
